I'm just a small town girl, taking on the big world. I've struggled with feeling fulfilled in my work and am always looking for ways to make a difference, which has lead me to joining the Peace Corps and moving to Myanmar (Southeast Asia). The reason, for me, is simple: I have been so fortunate in my life, I want to help those who aren't as fortunate. 

I am sure you are thinking Mallory, you don't have to fly halfway across the world to make a difference- and you're right. But why not quit my job, sell most of my belongings, leave my 4-legged partner in crime (Ivy Jo), pack 100 pounds worth of things to get me by while living alongside people who don't speak English, in a village that may no have electricity.

We are only given one life to live, (in my opinion) it is our responsibility to live it to the fullest.
